SCHOOL BACKGROUND

The Holly Hughes Dance Academy was established in 1983 by Holly Hughes who studied at Julliard, Broadway Dance, Steps, Alvin Ailey and the American Ballet Company in New York City, as well as many renowned dance studios throughout the United States and Canada.  Holly Hughes strives to provide quality dance instruction and a variety of fun opportunities to learn and demonstrate dance skills while building self esteem.

We encourage academic excellence as well as other involvements that contribute to the development of a multi-talented, well rounded individual. Further, we commit ourselves to teach, passing on the very finest and up-to-date techniques gathered from the most prestigious and superior of quality syllabus and renowned dance instructors.

The Holly Hughes Dance Academy has been providing professional and recreational dance lessons since its inception in 1983.

The Holly Hughes Dance Academy is located at;

251 Edinburgh Rd North in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, N1H 5S2.

Our school is conveniently located near the heart of Guelph with ample free parking and convenient drop off area. Our dance academy boasts two spacious studios with professionally installed sprung floors, full length mirrors, ballet barres as well as complete change rooms.

The studio floors are "sprung" which is a technique that mimics that of professional gyms, providing an element of comfort while at the same time reducing injuries such as shin splints.

Our building is well maintained and air conditioned for maximum comfort during warm spring and summer lessons and is well lit in the evenings. Personal lockers are also available and the Holly Hughes Dance Academy can easily and safely be reached by Guelph Transit as we are located directly on a bus route.
