What Is Acro Dance?
Acro Dance is a unique style that blends dance technique with gymnastics-inspired movement.

Meet Our Certified Instructors
Miss Taylor
Miss Taylor started her dance career in 2013, joining HHDA’s comp B team for its creation in 2015. Since then, she has developed a deep love for dancing, teaching, and knowing the right counts!
Even in her post-secondary education, Miss Taylor has chosen to focus on how the body functions & moves through the Kinesiology program at McMaster University! What she learns in school, she loves to make use of at the studio, especially when teaching the competitive team’s strength & technique conditioning classes.
Miss Taylor is passionate about teaching dancers of all ages & all different styles; such as jazz, modern, character, ballet, and her latest exciting addition - acro! Growing up, Miss Taylor has always loved anything that has to do with flexibility in dance. Now, she is excited to share that love with the next generation!

Miss Abby
Miss Abby has been dancing since the age of three, beginning her journey at Holly Hughes Dance Academy before becoming a competitive dancer and later a teacher. She is passionate about helping dancers build confidence, develop strong technique, and enjoy every moment in the studio.
As an Acrobatic Arts certified instructor, Miss Abby creates a positive, supportive environment where dancers can safely progress at their own pace. She has choreographed many award-winning competitive routines and is committed to continuing her professional development through advanced Acrobatic Arts and Aerial certifications, ensuring her students receive the highest quality instruction.

Beginner Acro (Ages 5–6)
Wednesday 6:15 – 7:00 PM
Junior Acro
Monday 7:00 – 7:45 PM
